Rob brings 25+ years of experience, insight & fun to every one of your piano lessons. Whatever style of music or direction you want to go into we will help you get there from the basics to advanced. Rock, Pop, Blues, Jazz, Broadway, Classical. Holiday songs to entertain the family; You name it. 

We are based in the East San Fernando Valley  & offer in-home piano lessons in most areas of Los Angeles, CA including Burbank, North Hollywood, Studio City, Van Nuys, Sherman Oaks, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Fairfax District, Koreatown & more.  

Violin Lessons are offered in our studio or on Zoom/Facetime.

Rob's unique perspective to the art of piano teaching to suit the interests of today's students interests,  juggling his music with a successful acting & directing career in Film, Television & Commercials giving him the ability to help students become stand out performers for the camera and stage, coupled with the skills needed to excel as a musician. 

PRIVATE LESSONS

Scheduled Lessons times are in increments of 30, 45 or 60 minutes depending on location. 

Online Lessons are generally given via ZOOM. This preferred platform allows for Whiteboarding, Sharing of materials, sharing of audio without transfers, sharing of screens, and even sharing of Music APPs plugged into the computer. Other platforms such as SKYPE & FACETIME are available if necessary.

*Rob is also a member of MTAC - Music Teachers Association of California. All students regardless of location are eligible to entered into the yearly recital & proficiency level testing offered by the organization.

We encourage students to seek out what motivates them to create music.  Our stories, anecdotes & suggestions of materials to explore on your own will help you be the best artist you can possibly be.

After 8+ years of strict classical training, my daughter (15 y/o) has a new found passion for piano since we found Rob. She has been taking lessons with Rob now for the past several months & the spark is back. She is thoroughly enjoying the challenge of learning the freedom and possibilities in jazz as well as brushing up on the basics of theory & musical ideas & topics in general.

5 Stars for Rob!! I'm a guitarist, and I have been performing with Rob consistently for five years. He is the leader of the group and a fantastic one. We take studio recordings that are often complex and have to to recreate them in a live setting for a small band. Rob is great at figuring out how to accomplish this and creates clear, easy to follow charts. He communicates well and knows how make the band sound its best. So in my experience, his teaching abilities are on point. He is funny, kind, talented and a joy to work with. I recommend him to you highly!! :)
